Terry Cooke-Davies founded the project management consulting business, Human Systems Limited, in 1985 and led it actively as Managing Director, Chief Executive or Chairman until its acquisition by the Project Management Institute in 2013. He obtained his PhD in project management in 2000 from Leeds Becket University, and thereafter served as a Visiting Research Fellow or Visiting Professor at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), ESC Lille, Uiversity College, London and Cranfield School of Management. He retired in December 2018.
